The Truth of My Day. Day 1
This is a whole new facet of my life. This started out as me writing about my quest for honesty, since I thought I was done traveling. I had a new job, and a year lease on a lovely house. My travel blog was over, I thought. It was called tidalmoments.blogspot.com
It was about the big shift where I created a space to quit working and live in Costa Rica. My life changed in 2016 like a big wave that cleans the slate on the beach, sweeping everything away. I also traveled for three months in 2017, going to Europe. I spent a week back in my home town in Canada, it had been a while. In 2018 I/we (I have done all this with my husband Ron by my side) went to Southeast Asia for three months. Then we attempted to settle down in the summer of 2018. It lasted five months. Then we were back in Costa Rica for a month. Then we were in Mexico for five months. Then we were back in the United States for five months. Three days ago we landed back in Costa Rica.
The new facet is my spirituality. So the title The Truth of My Day still fits. Why create yet another blog title?
My spirituality goes far beyond The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is my starting point, though. I have been a member of this church since I was eighteen years old, in 1988. In the last thirty years the Church has served me well, and I have served it also. The Church invited me (all of us as members) to share the gospel. So here I am. I am here. I am inviting everyone to share my testimony, to share my love, share my blog.
I also have a specific request that I be a member-missionary, and tell as many as I can about the story of my own conversion, the Prophet Joseph and his mission, and the restoration of the gospel in these latter days. "So here I am". Maybe that should be the name of the new blog.
This is the gospel of Suzette, according to her experiences with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I'm also very interested in the Light The World program started three years ago through the Church, and starts again on December 1st. I've gone through it before and I enjoyed it. I'm always looking for focus, purpose, and meaning to add to my life.
If you want the official information on my church and it's gospel focus and it's organization (and more) then I invite you to go to chruchofjesuschrist.org
With love and light, Suzette
